This year, the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), awarded this honor to Talk Fusion.

Those companies that develop the most innovative products and services in technology are nominated for this award. Industry leaders are those who continue to develop and perfect their technology while using it to serve over the last year. The use of the technology over the course of a year gives TMC the time it needs to survey and assess the quality and output of such products. Rich Tehrani, the CEO of TMC, has stated that only the best of the best are chosen to receive this award.

Talk Fusion’s latest improvement was the WebRTC technology. Face-to-face communication is now easier with Talk Fusion’s all-in-one video marketing solution, and it’s helping companies improve relationships while reducing travel expenses. Anyone can use this technology on any device they choose, including their smartphone, tablet, or personal computer. The full version went live in March 2016, and it continues to amaze business owners that are putting it to good use every day.

CEO Bob Reina has always had a tremendous vision for Talk Fusion and how to put it to good use, but he also knows how to improve upon his existing product. Reina started the company when he faced challenges sending larger files with images to his mother. Reina saw the need and then went to work to figure out how to solve the problem. His team is what he considers to be the absolute best for innovation and problem solving when it comes to technology.

Skout Joins the Social Networking Market

Skout has been around for a while but now it is embarking on a promotional campaign. Those who frequent the App Store may come across this new social networking app. What does it have that other social networking apps have? Some say nothing much, others disagree.

Skout is an app that allows users to connect in various ways to chat, exchange photos and make new friends an acquaintances. Sing up requires either Facebook or an email address and the basic user profile information includes sexual preference to help the app display other users who may be a good fit.

There are an number of ways to find new profiles of other users and communicate with them. This includes a grid displaying users who are online. By tapping on their profile users can see their basic information, last posts, send them a wink, begin a chat, favorite them, be notified when they come online, block them, report them and a more.

The drawer on the left side of the screen reveals more unique options of reconnecting with other users. Tapping “Buzz” reveals a feed of locals, friends or people the user has already favorited. “Shake to Chat” randomly matches a user with another user to chat with and after 40 seconds reveals each users profiles to each other.

Like many of these social networking apps, there is an “app currency” one must get ahold of to gain access to all of the options. These “points” may be purchased or earned by completing small tasks or engaging with advertisers. Users can also earn pints by selling access to their “backstage” photos for a certain number of points. It’s a mini digital economy.

The Skout app doesn’t seem to bring anything drastically different or attractive to the social networking market. It is competent, but focuses on monetization rather than socialization, which makes it less enjoyable. There are several other free networking apps available that offer similar experiences and greater freedom to connect with people.

Skout is currently ranked No. 31 in Top Free Social Networking Apps.
